University of Salford Graduation Certificate Frame
Celebrate one of life’s most significant milestones by displaying your University of Salford degree certificate in a frame that truly does it justice. Crafted with care and precision, this portrait-orientation graduation certificate frame has been designed to fit the University of Salford certificate perfectly — no trimming, no awkward gaps, just a clean, professional presentation that honours the hard work behind your qualification.
Exceptional Craftsmanship
The frame is constructed from high-quality moulding and finished with anti-glare styrene glazing, which reduces the damaging effects of UV light whilst keeping your certificate clearly visible from every angle. The certificate is mounted on acid-free archival mount card, foil-printed with the University of Salford name, essential for long-term preservation — it will not yellow or degrade over time. This combination of materials ensures your certificate remains in the same outstanding condition as the day you received it.
Your Choice of Frame
This certificate frame is available in three elegant moulding styles, allowing you to choose the finish that best suits your home, office, or study:
-
Black and Gold — a timeless, classic finish that lends formality and gravitas to any wall space
-
Teak and Gold — a warm, rich wood-effect finish for a more traditional aesthetic
-
Contemporary — a sleek, modern style suited to minimalist or contemporary interiors
Mount
The mount has been carefully selected in a colour that complements the University of Salford’s own colours, creating a cohesive and distinguished presentation that ties the entire frame together beautifully.
A University with a Proud Heritage
The University of Salford has a history deeply rooted in ambition and industry. Its origins stretch back to 1850 with the founding of the Pendleton Mechanics’ Institute, and to the Salford Working Men’s College in 1858 — both born out of the demands of the Industrial Revolution that transformed the region. These institutions merged to become the Royal Technical Institute in 1896, whose opening ceremony was attended by the then-Duke and Duchess of York — later King George V and Queen Mary — lending the institution its Royal designation. The university received its Royal Charter on 10 February 1967, when Queen Elizabeth II officially conferred university status. Today, the university’s motto — Altiora Petamus, meaning “Let us seek higher things” — remains a fitting sentiment for every graduate who walks away with a degree. Among its celebrated alumni are actor Sir Ben Kingsley and comedians Peter Kay and Jason Manford.
