St Mary’s University Graduation Certificate Frame
Marking the achievement of your St Mary’s University degree deserves something more than a drawer or a cardboard tube. This graduation certificate frame has been crafted to display your hard-earned qualification with the pride and permanence it truly merits — presenting it beautifully on your wall for years to come.
Designed Around Your Certificate
The frame is precision-made to fit your St Mary’s University graduation certificate exactly, ensuring a clean, professional presentation with no unsightly gaps or overhang. The mount has been carefully selected to complement the St Mary’s University colours, providing an elegant border that enhances the appearance of the certificate without overshadowing it. The university name is foil-printed directly onto the mount in a style that ties the entire piece together with distinction.
Quality You Can See and Feel
The mount card used is fully acid-free, making it suitable for archival preservation — your certificate will not yellow or degrade through contact with the mount over time. The frame is finished with anti-glare styrene glazing, which reduces the damaging effects of UV light whilst eliminating distracting reflections, allowing the certificate to be read clearly from any angle. A rigid backing board holds everything securely in place, and the frame comes ready to hang straight from the box.
Your Choice of Frame
Three moulding styles are available, allowing you to choose the finish that best suits your home or office:
-
Black and Gold — a classic, bold combination that gives the frame an authoritative, timeless quality
-
Teak and Gold — warm wood tones paired with gold detailing for a more traditional, distinguished look
-
Contemporary — a clean, modern finish suited to minimalist interiors and contemporary spaces
A University Steeped in History
St Mary’s University has a remarkable story behind it. Founded in 1850 by the Catholic Poor Schools Committee — beginning with just six students in Brook Green, Hammersmith — it holds the distinction of being the oldest Catholic university in the United Kingdom. In 1925, the university relocated to the grounds of the iconic Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham, a celebrated masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture that remains its home today. Strawberry Hill House was originally built for the writer and politician Horace Walpole, who used it to pioneer the Gothic Revival style in the 18th century — making the campus itself a site of genuine architectural and literary significance. In January 2014, St Mary’s was granted full university title by the Privy Council, and in 2025 celebrated its 175th anniversary. Graduating from an institution with roots this deep is something worth commemorating.
