Celebrate Your IChemE Achievement
Earning membership or fellowship of the Institution of Chemical Engineers is a significant professional milestone — a mark of rigorous technical expertise and dedication to one of the world’s most impactful engineering disciplines. This hand-crafted certificate frame is designed to honour that achievement and display your IChemE certificate with the prominence it deserves.
Crafted to the Highest Standard
Each frame is assembled by hand in the UK to a standard worthy of the certificate it holds. The glazing is anti-glare styrene, which reduces the damaging effects of UV light to help protect your certificate over time. The mount card used is acid-free and approved for archival use, ensuring it will not yellow or degrade — essential for the long-term preservation of your document. The Institution of Chemical Engineers name is foil-printed directly onto the mount, adding a distinguished, professional finish that immediately identifies the qualification on display.
Your Choice of Frame
This certificate frame is available in four moulding styles, allowing you to choose the finish that best suits your space:
-
Black and Gold — a classic, authoritative combination that works equally well in a home study or professional office
-
Teak and Gold — warm tones with a gold accent, lending a traditional and distinguished character
-
Contemporary — a clean, modern profile suited to minimalist or contemporary interiors
- Black and Silver — a sleek, sophisticated finish that offers a cooler, contemporary take on a traditional style
The Mount
The mount has been carefully selected to complement the IChemE’s own institutional colours, ensuring a cohesive and considered presentation that looks every bit as professional as the qualification it frames.
About the Institution of Chemical Engineers
Founded in 1922 following an inaugural meeting at the Hotel Cecil in London, IChemE was formally incorporated on 21 December of that year. The Institution was granted a Royal Charter on 8 April 1957, with HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh serving as its patron for over 63 years. Today, IChemE is a global professional body with around 30,000 members across 114 countries, with its headquarters situated at Railway Terrace in Rugby, Warwickshire — a town with its own remarkable place in history. Rugby is world-renowned as the birthplace of rugby football, credited to William Webb Ellis, a pupil at Rugby School who, according to legend, picked up the ball and ran with it during a match in 1823. The school itself, founded in 1567, was also said to have inspired the French educator Pierre de Coubertin in his mission to revive the Olympic Games. It is fitting that an institution representing a discipline of global importance should call such a historically significant town its home.
