Cardiff University Graduation Photo Frame for 10 x 8 Photo

Commemorate one of life’s most significant achievements with this beautifully crafted Cardiff University Graduation Photo Frame, made to proudly display your favourite 10 x 8 inch graduation photograph. Measuring 293mm x 340mm overall, this frame has been carefully designed and assembled to the highest standard, making it every bit as special as the moment it represents.

Frame and Mount

The frame is constructed from a quality moulding finished to a standard befitting a university graduation keepsake. The glazing is anti-glare styrene, which reduces the damaging effects of UV light, helping to protect your treasured photograph over time. The acid-free mount card has been foil printed in-house with the Cardiff University name, a process essential for archival preservation — ensuring the mount will not yellow or degrade over time. The mount colour has been carefully chosen to sit in keeping with Cardiff University’s own colours, complementing your graduation photograph beautifully.

Your Choice of Frame

This frame is available in three elegant moulding styles to suit your personal taste and home décor:

• Black and Gold — a timeless, classic finish that lends an air of prestige and formality

• Teak and Gold — a warm, rich tone that adds a traditional, distinguished feel

• Contemporary — a clean, modern style for those who prefer a sleeker aesthetic

Each style has been selected to complement both the mount and the occasion it marks.

A Perfect Gift

This photo frame would make a fantastic addition to your matching framed Cardiff University certificate, creating a stunning, coordinated display on any wall. It also makes an ideal gift — perhaps for your parents or wider family to mark your achievement, or for other family members to gift to the graduate themselves, to sit alongside their matching framed certificate as a lasting memento of their graduation day.

Cardiff University and the City of Cardiff

Founded on 24th October 1883 as the University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire, Cardiff University is one of Britain’s most distinguished seats of learning and the second oldest university in Wales. Established by Royal Charter in 1884, it became a founding college of the University of Wales in 1893 and today stands as a leading member of the prestigious Russell Group. The university has produced an extraordinary array of notable graduates across the worlds of politics, science, media and sport — among them Sir Martin Evans, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for his groundbreaking work in stem cell research, and broadcaster Huw Edwards, as well as former Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock. The university sits at the heart of Cardiff, the vibrant capital of Wales — a city whose history stretches back over 2,000 years to its origins as a Roman fort, and which proudly claims the largest concentration of castles of any city in the world. Cardiff gained city status in 1905 and remains one of the UK’s most culturally rich and dynamic cities.
