Frame Your Achievement — CII Member Certificate Frame
Becoming a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute is a mark of professional commitment and a genuine milestone in your career within insurance or financial services. This handcrafted certificate frame has been designed to display your CII membership certificate with the presentation and permanence it deserves.
Handcrafted Quality
Each frame is individually hand-made in the UK to the highest standards of craft and finish. The backing board is fully removable, making it straightforward to insert your certificate cleanly and securely. Anti-glare styrene glazing is used in place of glass, protecting your certificate by reducing the damaging effects of UV light whilst eliminating unwanted reflections — keeping your certificate looking its best whether displayed in an office, study, or reception area.
Archival-Standard Mounting
Your certificate is set within a professionally cut mount produced using foil-printed, acid-free mount card, with the Chartered Insurance Institute name elegantly foil-printed to the mount border. Acid-free materials are essential for archival preservation, ensuring the mount will not yellow or degrade over time. The mount colour has been carefully selected to complement the CII’s own institutional colours, giving the overall presentation a cohesive and distinguished appearance.
Your Choice of Frame
Four moulding styles are available to suit your personal taste and the setting in which your certificate will be displayed:
-
Black and Gold — a timeless, classic combination that lends authority and formality to your achievement
-
Teak and Gold — warm, rich tones offering a traditional yet distinguished feel
-
Contemporary — a clean, bold matt black finish suited to modern interiors and workspaces
- Black and Silver — a sleek, sophisticated finish that offers a cooler, contemporary take on a traditional style
About the Chartered Insurance Institute
The Chartered Insurance Institute has a history stretching back to 1873, when the first Insurance Institute was founded in Manchester — a city at the heart of British industry — to foster the exchange of knowledge around insurance, particularly fire insurance for the region’s many textile manufacturers. The federation of institutes grew steadily, and in 1912, King George V granted the organisation its Royal Charter, formally establishing the Chartered Insurance Institute as the professional body for the sector. In 1934, King George V personally opened the CII’s landmark Insurance Hall at Aldermanbury in the City of London, also agreeing to become the body’s first Royal Patron — a tradition honoured by successive monarchs. Today, the CII is one of the world’s largest professional bodies dedicated to insurance and financial services, with a membership exceeding 123,000 professionals globally.
