Frame and Mount Materials

The frame is constructed from a high-quality wooden moulding with a durable, decorative finish, designed to stand the test of time. The glazing is anti-glare styrene, which reduces the damaging effects of UV light whilst providing a clean, clear view of your photograph. The mount is crafted from acid-free mount card, essential for archival preservation — it will not yellow or degrade over time, ensuring your photograph remains as vivid as the moment it was taken. The university name is foil-printed directly onto the mount, adding a distinguished finishing touch that immediately identifies and celebrates your qualification.

The mount colour has been carefully selected to complement Cranfield University’s own colours, ensuring a cohesive and prestigious presentation.

This graduation photo frame is available in a choice of frame styles to suit your taste and home décor:

About Cranfield University

Cranfield University holds a truly unique place in British higher education. Founded in 1946 as the College of Aeronautics on the former site of RAF Cranfield in Bedfordshire, it was granted university status by Royal Charter in 1969 and adopted its current name in 1993. Today it is the UK’s only exclusively postgraduate university, specialising in science, engineering, technology, design, and management. One of Cranfield’s most remarkable distinctions is that its main Bedfordshire campus is the only university in the United Kingdom — and one of the very few in Europe — to have its own operational airport, Cranfield Airport, used for teaching and research purposes. It is a fitting heritage for a university born from the pioneering spirit of post-war British aviation.
