Founded on 12 February 1889, the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology has been championing marine professionals for well over a century. The IMarEST is the only professional body in the world able to award the titles of Chartered Marine Technologist (CMarTech), Registered Marine Technologist (RMarTech), and Marine Technician (MarTech).
