Royal College of Music Certificate Frame — Portrait A4 | Crimson Mount | Gold Coloured Foil Text
Display your Royal College of Music qualification with the pride and distinction it deserves. This portrait-oriented certificate frame has been carefully designed to present your A4 certificate to its very best advantage, housed within a frame measuring 290mm wide x 380mm high — the ideal proportions for a wall-mounted display that commands attention.
The Mount
Your certificate is presented on a crimson coloured mount, chosen specifically to complement the prestigious colours of the Royal College of Music. The mount text is finished in gold coloured foil, printed on approved acid-free mount card — an essential requirement for archival preservation, ensuring the mount will not yellow or degrade over time. The result is an elegant, coordinated presentation that feels entirely fitting for one of the world’s great conservatoires.
Premium Quality Materials
The frame is glazed with anti-glare styrene, which reduces the damaging effects of UV light on your certificate whilst ensuring your text and any printed detail remain clearly visible from all angles. The portrait layout keeps your qualification front and centre, with the crimson and gold coloured presentation adding a suitably distinguished finish.
Your Choice of Frame
All three frame styles listed below are available for this product. Each moulding has been selected to pair beautifully with the crimson mount and gold coloured foil text:
-
>Black and Gold — a timeless combination that reinforces the formality of a prestigious music qualification; the deep black moulding with gold coloured detailing creates a bold, classical aesthetic
>Teak and Gold — warm teak tones with gold coloured accents provide a rich, traditional feel that suits both modern and period interiors
>Contemporary — a clean, understated moulding for those who prefer a refined, minimalist look that allows the crimson mount and certificate to take centre stage
The Royal College of Music
Situated in the heart of South Kensington, London, the Royal College of Music was opened on 7 May 1883 by the then Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII. Since its foundation, the RCM has trained some of the most significant figures in international music — among them composers Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams, conductors Leopold Stokowski and Sir Simon Rattle, and celebrated alumni including Benjamin Britten, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Jacqueline du Pré. The College also holds within its museum a clavicytherium believed to be the world’s oldest surviving keyboard instrument, and what is considered the earliest known guitar — a testament to the institution’s extraordinary musical heritage. His Majesty King Charles III has served as President of the College since 1993.
A Gift Worth Framing
Whether marking your own achievement or celebrating that of someone special, this frame makes a thoughtful and lasting gift for any Royal College of Music graduate. A qualification from the RCM represents years of dedication and world-class tuition — it deserves to be displayed in a manner that reflects that standard.
