Frame and Mount Details

The frame is constructed to a high standard, with a styrene glazed front panel that is anti-glare and helps to reduce the damaging effects of UV light, protecting your cherished photograph. The mount is produced from acid-free mount card, foil-printed with the University of Lincoln name, making it not only a striking display piece but also an archivally sound one — the acid-free materials ensure it won’t yellow or degrade over time.

The mount colour has been carefully selected to complement the University of Lincoln’s colours, ensuring a cohesive and polished finish that feels authentically connected to your institution.

The overall frame dimensions are 293mm x 340mm, making it a substantial and impressive display piece suited to any home or office wall.

Your Choice of Frame

This photo frame is available in four moulding styles to suit your taste and décor:

• Black and Gold — a timeless, classic combination that lends real gravitas to your graduation photograph

• Teak and Gold — a warm, rich finish with traditional appeal

• Contemporary — a sleek, modern option for a clean, understated look

• Black and Silver — a sleek, sophisticated finish that offers a cooler, contemporary take on a traditional style

Each style has been chosen to present your photograph with the refinement that your achievement deserves.

A City and University Steeped in History

Lincoln is one of England’s most historically significant cities — a place where Roman legions once marched, where a copy of the original Magna Carta is preserved within the walls of Lincoln Castle, and where Lincoln Cathedral dominated the medieval skyline as, reputedly, the tallest building in the world for over 200 years. The University of Lincoln itself holds its graduation ceremonies within that very cathedral — one of the finest examples of English Gothic architecture in the country. The university has grown into a genuinely award-winning institution, being named Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide in 2020, and achieving a coveted Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework in December 2023. The first tanks ever built were designed and constructed in Lincoln during the First World War — a testament to the inventive spirit of this remarkable city that your own hard work and dedication now adds to.

A Gift Worth Giving

This frame would make a fantastic addition to a matching framed University of Lincoln certificate, completing the display and doing true justice to the full story of your achievement. It also makes a wonderful gift idea — perhaps something for parents or grandparents to treasure, or a present from family members to give to the graduate to go alongside their own matching framed certificate. Arriving ready to hang and beautifully presented, it requires no effort on the part of the giver beyond choosing it.
